The School Improvement Specialist :
Oversees all areas of standardized testing and the SOL tutoring program
Analyzes test data, provides faculty, staff, and parents with related pertinent information, and is a member of the CIM team
Arranges APPLE sessions and is a member of the Staff Development Committee
Identifies students for placement in level 1, 2, or 3 remediation and makes recommendations for placement in advanced classes.
Records and monitors faculty in-house Professional Development Points earned for teacher re-licensure.
