Fall Tryouts for Football, Girls/Boys Soccer – Week of August 31
Tryouts will be held from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. during the week of August 31.
Students must have a ride TO school on the first day of tryouts. Activity buses will be provided to take students HOME on the first day of tryouts as well as TO/FROM school for the rest of the week. Students that will be riding the activity bus during the week must ride the activity bus home on the first day of tryouts so they know where their stop will be. Activity Bus Routes will be similar to last year. Be aware that activity bus stops are further apart than regular bus stops. Students need to be at their bus stop an hour early on the first morning to make sure they don’t miss the bus. TRYOUTS ARE CLOSED TO ALL SPECTATORS!
Summer Reading Bingo
As we prepare for the long-awaited and much deserved summer break, we would like to leave you with a few final thoughts. This year our students have made some excellent progress in reading, you should be very proud! However, studies have shown that there will be a decline, know as the "summer slide", if students do not do any reading over the summer. If they would like a challenge, take a look at our Larkspur Summer Bingo. As you read, you can record your books online at http://bit.ly/1d2bdur or keep track of them on this downloadable sheet. Here is a brief promotional video telling you more about the program.
