Curtis Day, an eighth grade student at Larkspur received the "Students Taking Action Award" from NewsChannel 3!

"Curtis is such an outstanding young man. In addition to being a student athlete at Larkspur Middle School, he goes out of his way to volunteer three mornings a week to help with art projects here at Kempsville Meadows Elementary School"

Congratulations to Mr. Hugh Koontz who has been selected as the Larkspur Middle School 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year. Mr. Koontz is a seventh grade science teacher who truely loves working with his students and helping his fellow teachers.

NJHS Application

The National Junior Honor Society has invited current seventh grade students to apply for membership. The eligible students received a letter to apply and have received an application. All applications are due to main guidance no later than 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Wolford. ATC Summer Camp 2015 for Rising Ninth Grade Students

The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is excited to sponsor its Annual Summer Camp for Rising 9th Grade Students August 10th through 14th. The cost of the camp is $125 and it will be open for 60 campers on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have any questions please contact the ATC at 648-5800 extension 0.
